In April of 1996 a group of local investors saw the need for a strong community bank in Nevada that could offer personalized service and a common sense approach to doing business. On September 3, 1996 Community Bank opened its doors for business and immediately set down strong roots by assisting consumers, farmers, and businesses succeed in reaching their financial goals. We expanded to serve the agricultural needs of Ida County with the opening of our Holstein office on February 25, 2010. Our Holstein staff looks forward the opportunity to meet the needs of the community.

Daniel B. Engler, President:
Dan had the vision to establish Community Bank in 1996. Dan has over thirty years of banking experience. He is a graduate of South Dakota State University and brings a strong background in agriculture and economic development.
Robert Butcher, Executive Vice President:
Robert joined the Holstein Office of Community Bank in 2011. He is a lifelong resident of the Holstein area residing on a "Century Farm". He attained his Animal Science degree from Iowa State University and brings over 38 years of banking experience to our staff.
Jeff Hauenstein, Vice President:
Jeff has been with Community Bank since its inception in 1996. He brings experience with other banks prior to the start of Community Bank. He is our resident real estate lending expert and has a BS in Economics from Iowa State University. He brings you an Ag background being raised in South East Iowa. Stop in and Jeff will assist you with your real estate and consumer lending needs.
Brad Murty, Vice President:
Brad came to Community Bank in July 2010. He brings with him twelve years of banking experience. He earned his Ag Business degree from Iowa State University. Brad looks forward to assisting you with all of your agricultural lending needs.
Ron Kemmerer, Vice President:
Ron started with Community Bank in November 2010. He grew up on a farm in Boone County and is a graduate of Iowa State University with a BS in Animal Science. He has over thirty years of banking experience. Ron can help you with all types of Ag Loans.
Trey Else, Vice President:
Trey has been with Community Bank of Holstein since January 2010. He has sixteen years of previous banking experience. Trey is a graduate of Buena Vista University. He has an Ag background being raised on a crop and livestock farm in Holstein. Visit with Trey about all of our banking services.
Tom Todd, Vice President:
Tom has been with Community Bank of Holstein since June 2010. He has five years of previous banking experience. Tom has a BS degree in finance and accounting from Morningside College. He comes from a strong Ag background and continues to farm and raise livestock near Holstein. Tom can assist you with any of your agricultural or commercial lending needs.
Ben Engler, Assistant Vice President:
Ben has been with Community Bank since 2005. He earned a BS degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University. Ben brings you a strong Ag background and can assist you with all of your Ag Lending requests.
Sharon Johnson, Cashier:
Sharon has been with Community Bank since 2007. She has more than thirty years of banking experience. She is a graduate of Buena Vista University with a BA in Banking and Finance. She has an Ag Background and can assist you with your IRA and deposit needs.
Jeana Todd, Assistant Cashier:
Jeana has been with community Bank since January 2010, when the Holstein office was taking form. She brought thirteen years of banking experience with her. Jeana has an Ag background and currently farms with her husband and son near Holstein. She can help you with your banking and lending needs.

Sandy has been with Community Bank since its inception in 1996. She has more than twenty years of banking experience. Sandy can assist you with any of your deposit needs.
Steve Edwards, Customer Service/Loan Clerk:
Steve joined Community Bank in May of 2012. He is an Iowa State University graduate and has over 15 years experience in commercial/consumer lending and finance. Steve provides loan and operations support for our Nevada location.
Carmi Olson, Customer Service Representative:
Carmi is our part time employee who previously worked full time for our bank. Carmi can help you with any of your deposit or new account questions.
Cathy Bubke, Customer Service Representative:
Cathy has been with Community Bank of Holstein since they opened the doors and has ten years of banking experience. Cathy and her husband farm and feed cattle near Holstein. Her varied background makes her uniquely qualified to assist you with your banking needs.
Geneva Miesner, Customer Service Representative:
Geneva joined the Holstein office staff in 2013. She brings over three years of banking experience and ties to “Red Power” magazine, published by her family. She is able to assist you with any of your deposit account needs.
